Alliance Healthcare Investment Fund
Alliance Healthcare Investment Fund LP (“Fund”) is a Delaware limited partnership that invests in early-stage and growth-stage companies in the healthcare industry. The Fund seeks out companies that have devices, procedures, technology or services that improve patient outcomes and or allows the provider of healthcare services to reduce costs of delivery quality health care. The Fund’s investment strategy is to emphasize investing in management teams that have prior success and experience in similar or related business endeavors, and companies in high-growth markets with manageable capital needs. The Fund’s Principals have substantial experience in a wide range of healthcare businesses and view that a combination of their experience in the healthcare space along with access to their extensive network of contacts in the healthcare industry will provide invaluable to the Fund’s portfolio companies. The typical Fund investment is structured in the form of a preferred stock or convertible debt with warrants and will provide the Fund with either a seat on the Board or observer rights to Board meetings. As such, it is not the Fund’s intent to be a passive investor as we believe we bring more than just capital to our investments. For a company that is looking for funding and have the investor remain passive and be content with receiving annual financial reports – we are not their type of investor. However for those companies that are looking to raise capital and have access to a team of seasoned healthcare professionals and access to extensive healthcare “C” level contacts – the Fund would be the ideal investor.
